When security becomes urgent—after theft, when bicycles are stored in offices or at an exposed site—construction work is often the main obstacle.
Maritime is delivered fully assembled with an integrated floor. Depending on the site, it can be installed on asphalt (≥ 6 cm) or on concrete pads. The result is a turnkey installation without complex civil engineering.

Questions we are asked before installing a secure container bike shelter.
The core of the product is its enclosed shipping-container structure, which provides a strong deterrent. The security level can then be tailored through locking and access-control options (such as a keypad or cylinder lock) and your access policy: who can enter and how codes or keys are managed.
Not necessarily. Maritime has an integrated floor. According to the technical data sheet, it can be installed on asphalt at least 6 cm thick or on concrete pads, depending on the site. We assess the supporting surface before scheduling installation.
Delivery is by crane truck, so access is critical: width, load-bearing capacity and overhead or roadside obstacles must all be checked. If there is any doubt, we assess the site in advance to avoid problems on installation day.
The standard single module accommodates 8 bikes with single-tier racks or 16 bikes with two-tier racks. The double module accommodates 20 bikes on one tier or 40 bikes on two tiers. Exact capacity depends on the selected racks and interior layout.

Yes: it is a container-based shelter, designed to be repositioned if your site evolves. The move requires logistical organization (truck-crane access) and preparation of the ground at the new location.
The technical data sheet gives an indicative lead time of 10 to 12 weeks after receipt of the deposit, depending on production scheduling and the selected options. Once the site access and supporting surface have been assessed, we agree a delivery and installation date.
Requirements depend on the municipality and the site context, including the local planning rules (PLU), footprint, protected-site status and any co-ownership rules. For an initial check, use our address-based PLU tool. We can help identify the requirements relevant to your project.
If budget or capacity is your main priority, a simpler enclosed solution such as our enclosed metal bike shelter may be more suitable. Maritime is the better choice when maximum strength, material reuse and rapid installation matter most.

Because Maritime is not sold as an unmodified shipping container. It is fully converted for bicycle use, including security, interior fittings, access and optional equipment, then delivered ready to install. You are buying complete cycling infrastructure, not an empty steel shell.
